Processes/Finishes

Techniques include: hydro-forming, hammering, etching, patination and otherwise torturing non ferrous metals.

All work is hand made; produced in my studio on the Gaviota coast of Santa Barbara County, USA!

The plates are given a protective acrylic coating. A soft, slightly damp cloth (nothing abrasive) is suggested to clean.

The patinas are a natural oxidation that takes days to form, they are in the metal , not paint. The weather affects coloration during the process, so there may be variations in color on all pieces, though it is minimal.Disclaimer: the colors you see on your screen are very close to real but may vary slightly you might get in your order.
